As a way of improving Digital Literacy in the whole school community, St Joseph's School the Strand has a whole school approach to Cybersafety/Digital Citizenship. Throughout each school year, students are educated in using technology appropriately and being competent and respectful digital citizens. The school takes part in the annual initiative "Safer Internet Day" facilitated by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner. The theme in 2018 is 'Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you'. Students and teachers collaborated on class pledges and these were combined into an awareness video which you can view below.
